I'd forgotten all about those Kodak disc cameras until I went through an old box of photos.

Found loads of disc/negatives but no sign of any of the photos associated with them.

Were lawn darts a thing over here in England?

Proper population control idea from the inventor there.

Ohh, and those rubber half spheres you folded inside out and they'd leap 20 feet into the air. Banned in playgrounds everywhere.

I remember bananas when they were proper sized, instead of those micro bananas that supermarkets sell now.

All because of some stupid E.U. ruling put forward by some mayor in Spain or summin....

Tabletop cigarette lighters. Basically a highly-polished piece of rock with a hollowed out bit for a brass lighter to be stuck in. Sometimes found with matching ashtray. My grandma and all her friends seemed to have them. Not thought about those since just now.

I started work at around the same time sandwich toasters became all the rage in the 80's. I'm pretty certain that the only place that I could find that took those damn vouchers gave me the two bob bits in exchange on more than one occasion. Tuna mayo and sweetcorn in a sandwich toaster is all wrong it does indeed end up tasting like shite...

Re: Things you'd completely forgotten...
Haha. Metaphorical.

Didn't know how else to spend the vouchers (I was v young.) Boring lunches. I ate a lot of ham, cheese and tomato. The tuna mayo once made me ill.

There IS such a thing as a free lunch. But it's not necessarily enjoyed.
